Leonardo DiCaprio films in Argentina for “The Revenant”

Hollywood superstar Leonardio DiCaprio is shooting the final scenes of The Revenant in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. The Revenant is Alejandro González Iñárritu‘s (Oscar winning director of “Birdman”) first collaboration with actor Leonardo DiCaprio. The movie tells the true story of a frontiersman, Hugh Glass, who sets out on a path of vengeance against those who left him for dead after a bear mauling. Although the movie was being shoot in Canada, the snow melted before filming was complete, and the similitude of the landscape of the Argentinian Patagonia with it, make it the perfect place to shoot several scenes there.
