The National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) of Argentina and the National Cinema Agency (ANCINE) of Brazil renewed their Film/Audiovisual Co-production Agreement during a ceremony held on July 25 this month in Panama, where respective presidents Lucrecia Cardoso and Manoel Rangel signed the agreement for the third time since its creation in 2011.

The objective of the agreement is to provide financial aid for different kinds of movie projects and bolster the local industry in each country, spawning two international co-productions apiece every year. Past beneficiaries of this agreement include All In (La suerte en tus manos) by Daniel Burman and Lion’s Heart (Corazón de León) by Marcos Carnevale.
