Argentina in SXSW Music, Film and Interactive 2014

SXSW Music, Film and Interactive 2014 will kick off in Austin, Texas on March 7th, and Argentina will be present as part of the SXSW® Film Conference & Festival section since day one.

On March 7^th SXSW Film will screen the indie Argentine movie The Desert, “a doomed story of a love triangle in a post-apocalyptic world”. On March 8^th ambassador Cecilian Nahon will preside Argentina’s Creative & IT Sector in the US panel, about the causes and consequences of the Argentine IT industry’s fast growing export market.

On March 10^th, in light of the 2013 release of the record box-office animated movie Metegol (Foosball), producing exec Diego Rosner will discuss the potential or Argentina’s film industry in the panel Can we beat Dreamworks and Pixar from Argentina. Argentina will wrap up its presence at SXSW Film on March 11^th at The Argentine Pavilion, showcasing an attractive film market.

SXSW Music, Film and Interactive will last from March 7^th to March 16^th.
